Trump officials halt offshore wind-farm projects over ‘national security risks’
All of the projects were reviewed and approved under Joe Biden's administration, which found there were no undue national security concerns raised by the developments. Democrats have pointed to two assessments by the Pentagon of Revolution Wind that found the project "would not have adverse impacts to DoD missions in the area"...

"Utilities have complete control over the pipes and they don't have to allow industry to do this," said Emily Donovan, co-founder of Clean Cape Fear, a citizens group that formed in Wilmington, North Carolina in response to widespread Pfas pollution in the region...

History Minute (063): More debunking "Slaves liked being slaves."
"the conduct of the Negro in the late crisis of our affairs has convinced me that we were all laboring under a delusion. . . . I believed that these people were content, happy, and attached to their masters. But events and reflection have caused me to change these positions. . . . If they were content, happy and attached to their masters, why did they desert him in the moment of his need and flock to an enemy, whom they did not know; and thus left their perhaps really good masters whom they did know from infancy?"
