"Simply as a matter of strategy, if Judge Smith's audience is the supreme court, I think he would have been far more effective if he had been measured and focused more attention on what he sees as the defects in the merits of the case, rather than to continually cast aspersions on the other judges, experts, and lawyers in the case," he wrote.

SCOTUS Majority SLAMMED by Justice Jackson with SCATHING DISSENT

In a scorching dissent addressed to the MAGA 6 on the Supreme Court, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson took her title seriously, and metes out justice to protect the transgender American community who are being forced to have their "gender assigned at birth" listed on their passports, not for some legitimate "foreign affairs" reason, but because Trump hates the community. Popok reports that KBJ callis out her brethren for "misunderstanding the assignment" when Trump files an emergency appeal, improperly picking "winner and losers" on cases that are not yet developed and ignoring the psychological and emotional harm to a fragile population in our society that needs protection, on his latest hot take.

The Supreme Court will decide if Trump can use the military against Americans | Vox

…So, there's a real chance that the Republican justices will resolve the Illinois case by simply assuming that order has broken down in Broadview and then interpreting the law as if Trump's claims are gospel. In the worst case scenario, they could also demand that lower courts defer to Trump even if he uses the military to suppress dissent or to intimidate Democratic voters...

Military leaders voice concern over Hegseth’s new Pentagon strategy - The Washington Post

 "There's a concern that it's just not very well thought out," one former official said of the strategy. 

The document's tone is also far more partisan than past strategies, saying the Biden administration caused an erosion of America's military in rhetoric similar to Hegseth's speeches, two people familiar with the plan said… 

That interim document also hinted at the emerging strategy to use military personnel in a more assertive role at home and abroad. The Pentagon was directed by Hegseth to "prioritize efforts to seal our borders, repel forms of invasion including unlawful mass migration, narcotics trafficking, human smuggling and trafficking, and other criminal activities, and deport illegal aliens in coordination with the Department of Homeland Security," according to the document…

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson says Supreme Court ruling will hurt the ‘neediest among us’

"Indeed," she went on, "it is undisputed that systemically undercounting low-income patients for the purposes of the disproportionate-share formula might cause many such hospitals to close their doors entirely, such that patients from our Nation's poorest communities may not be served at all." 

But the Biden appointee concluded this doesn't have to be the end of the matter. She called on Congress to step in and "restate its intention that low-income people have access to quality medical care and that hospitals be compensated accordingly."…
