Ex-pastor at Pete Hegseth’s church calls for public executions and says Bible backs Ice raids | Pete Hegseth | The Guardian

On 29 July, he straightforwardly outlined his own preferred political program: "Republican Platform 2032 – Abolish Abortion & IVF – Ban Pornography – Bring Back Public Executions For Violent Offenders – Outlaw No Fault Divorce – Overturn Obergefell – Ban Gay Adoption – Ban public indecency (Which would ban pride parades). What did I miss?"

In a 9 August post, Haymes hinted he believes not all citizens should be allowed to vote when he reiterated the position of other CREC pastors: "Voting is not a sacred right granted by God."

Beirich, the extremism expert, said: "Haymes is a white supremacist who endorses the racist 'great replacement' conspiracy theory and talks of American culture as 'Anglo-Protestant'."

She added: "He is pro-Confederate, calls the LGBTQ+ community 'uniquely evil', endorses the ideas of Jared Taylor, one of our country's most prominent white nationalists, and calls for insane things like public executions. This is what the Trump era has brought us."…

Schriver's caucus, and the longer there is no action taken, the more responsibility leadership bears."…

Michigan House Speaker Joe Tate (D) announced the sanctions Monday morning and accused Schriver of promoting a "sustained campaign of racist rhetoric and hate speech." Schriver doubled down on his post Monday evening, denying that sharing the image was racist...

The U.S. far right has a curious affinity for the Taliban - The Washington Post

…CNN obtained the details of a recent call between John Cohen, the head of the Department of Homeland Security's Office of Intelligence and Analysis, and local and state law enforcement. In the call, Cohen said his agency, in its monitoring of far-right groups, had seen both an uptick in invocations of the "great replacement" — a white-supremacist conspiracy theory that liberals are "importing" foreigners to undermine the country's white majority — and praise for the Taliban's success from those who call for a new civil war within the United States…
