More than one-third of Detroit precincts reported too many votes

More than one-third of Detroit precincts had inconsistencies with voting machines results that will lead to an audit. Machines at 248 precincts in Wayne County recorded more votes than poll books said were cast, according to the Detroit News. Hillary Clinton’s large margin of victory in Michigan’s largest city was not enough to defeat Donald Trump in the state, which he won by less than 11,000 votes. It was not immediately clear how large the discrepancies between vote totals and the number of actual ballots, or if the differences had been "reconciled" in any way....
