This episode includes a lengthy discussion on the subject of the lineages in Matthew and Luke. The caller thinks that they prove Jesus descended from David, and Justin shows (over and over) why this is simply not the case. And that is important for believers because the Hebrew Bible says that the Messiah is to come from David's lineage. If Jesus did not descend from David, he cannot have been the Messiah.
