House Democrats on Tuesday morning announced two articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump. The articles charge that the president committed high crimes and misdemeanors serious enough to merit being removed from office. “He endangers our democracy; he endangers our national security,” Rep. Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., of the House Judiciary Committee said during the Dec. 10 announcement. The first article charges the president abused his power by withholding military aid to Ukraine in exchange for investigations into his political rivals, and the second charges that the president also directed "unprecedented" and "categorical" obstruction of Congress in its investigation into whether the president withheld military aid to Ukraine for personal benefit.....
