… So Trump tested positive, then negative. Meadows noticed him appearing under the weather and instructed staffers to treat him like he was positive. Meadows also noted Trump's insistence on pressing forward despite the positive test. These aren't the words of someone who believed it was truly a false positive and much ado about nothing. And even if Meadows did believe that, pressing forward in public without telling people Trump encountered, who could make such a decision for themselves, was reckless…

Ron Johnson is third GOP senator to test positive for coronavirus in two days

Ron Johnson of Wisconsin is the third Republican senator to test positive for Covid-19 after President Donald Trump announced early Friday that he and the first lady had a positive diagnosis. Sens. Mike Lee, R-Utah, and Thom Tillis, R-N.C., who attended the Amy Coney Barrett Supreme Court nomination announcement at the White House last Saturday, have also tested positive for the virus. Both are members of the Senate Judiciary Committee, which is the panel that will hold hearings on her nomination.....

Today, more Americans say the 2010 health care overhaul has had a mostly positive than mostly negative effect on the country (44% versus 35%), while 14% say it has not had much effect. ....
