Mark Meadows tries to clean up his disclosure of Trump’s positive coronavirus test — poorly - The Washington Post

And even if Meadows did believe that, pressing forward in public without telling people Trump encountered, who could make such a decision for themselves, was reckless…

"How Many People Will Die Because of This Tweet?" Trump, Leaving Hospital, Tells Nation: "Don't Be Afraid of Covid" | Common Dreams News
President Donald Trump's Monday afternoon tweet—in which he announced that he would leave Walter Reed at 6:30 pm, dismissed the severity of pandemic, and touted "really great drugs"—elicited a flood of criticism from observers who said the president could be sending a deadly message after being afforded the kind of healthcare treatment the more than 210,000 Americans who died from Covid-19 were unable to access.
"Don't be afraid of Covid," tweeted Trump, who is infected with the virus and has been at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center since Friday night. "We have developed, under the Trump Administration, some really great drugs."....

Before the president went to a fundraiser Thursday in New Jersey with some 150 close donors—where, it seems, masks were less visible than gaudy shows of money—Trump knew that he potentially had the coronavirus. It just seems he didn’t care. Hope Hicks, a close aide, had already tested positive when he flew in. Trump went to raise money anyway. And in the meantime, he tried to hide from the press that Hicks even had the coronavirus at all. Like a child—like himself just a few months ago—he hoped, like magic, it would all “go away.”
It did not.....
