DHS watchdog opens probes into ICE treatment of detainees - POLITICO
Per a memo to ICE chief David Venturella posted on the watchdog’s website, the DHS inspector general is looking at whether “systemic factors, policies, or processes contributed to detainee deaths that occurred in ICE,” from October of 2021 through March 2026.
