Early this week, Anthony S. Fauci and other leading members of President Trump’s coronavirus task force pressed the importance of a vastly expanded national testing regime. “I’m not sure you can practically do … testing every day; that I don’t think would be feasible,” Fauci said in Senate testimony. “But something that is much more aggressive than has been done in the past, I believe, should be done.”
