Throughout his address, President Trump issued praiseworthy calls for civility and cooperation, only to undermine his own appeal moments later. It began when the president called refugees a threat to American values and then issued a call for the reinstatement of a prejudicial ban against Muslims -- a violation of the Establishment Clause of our First Amendment.
