On World AIDS Day, 10 protesters were arrested this afternoon near House Speaker Paul Ryan's office as they protested funding cuts to programs related to HIV/AIDs, or what they called an "AIDs nightmare budget".
They were charged with "crowding, obstructing, or incommoding" outside room 1233 in the Longworth Building, according to U.S. Capitol Police spokeswoman Eva Malecki. As of 2:30 p.m., the protesters were being processed.
