Interesting history article, followed by a huge number of comments that fault the article for various alleged flaws and inaccuracies — with many of them contradicting each other. I don't feel in any position to say what the truth is, but I can't help but notice how much of everyone's perceptions and positions justifying actions on both sides are rooted in religion: God gave the land, God is the holder of title, etc. And it does serve to see how difficult it is to sort out the truth or a solution for peace in the middle east...
