“Last night, Donald Trump made it clear that he remains committed to advancing the toxic agenda of the religious right at all costs. When asked if he still supported a ban on Muslims entering the United States, Trump asserted that his ban had “morphed into an extreme vetting from certain parts of the world.” Any policy that would reject immigrants based on their faith is unAmerican, unconstitutional, and contrary to the secular character of our government.
Later in the debate, Donald Trump said he would nominate Supreme Court Justices who were “in the mold of Antonin Scalia.”...
