Why Republicans Are Lying About Noncitizens Voting
Republicans are claiming that noncitizens are voting in federal elections and causing massive voter fraud. The only issue with their statements is that they’re not true. Noncitizens cannot vote in federal elections, states have safeguards in place to ensure only eligible voters cast ballots and there is little evidence noncitizens are voting.
