95 days after CHIP funding expires, House Republicans are passing the buck

It's been 95 days since the Republican Congress allowed funding to expire for the Children's Health Insurance Program and community health centers.

Rep. Tom Cole said Tuesday the House has passed a bill funding the Children's Health Insurance Program, but the Senate needs to act in order for the funding to continue. "We've continued to fund it on a short-term basis," Mr. Cole, Oklahoma Republican, said on CNN. "The House has passed a bill. I think it's a good bill. The Senate's got to pass a bill so we can go to conference."....
