It was some spectacle. At his first news conference as president-elect, Donald Trump tossed aside accusations of sleazy behavior, he bulldozed his way through a wall of reporter’s questions and announced who he had picked to run his company.
President-elect Trump still intends to retain an ownership stake in his real-estate and branding empire. But his sons Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump will run the company. For the first time it was made clear that the incoming president will put his business assets into a trust, and an ethics adviser will join the company’s management team.
Trump called out the latest Russian intelligence report as “fake news.” Though he did disclose he was a germophobe.
