Donald Trump is now the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, a fact that is upsetting not just for many Americans but for much of the entire world. That includes a whole lot of the GOP—Trump’s own party—which has spent the last few decades building a big tent of racists, misogynists, homophobes, nativists, Islamophobes, gun-happy ammosexuals and more (let me know what I left out), yet is somehow surprised at all the ugliness manifested in the copper-wire-toupeed human nightmare that is Donald Trump.
Hillary Clinton’s team, recognizing the golden potential of the insults Trump's fellow Republicans have hurled at him over the last few months, has collected some of the very best into a blistering campaign ad. Opening with a clip of Trump proclaiming himself “a unifier,” it proceeds to trot out a who’s who of highly visible Republicans proving the Donald will be anything but....
