President Trump on Sunday emphasized his own role in the apparent death of Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in a U.S. raid in northwestern Syria, telling reporters that he had long pressed for Baghdadi’s capture. “I’ve been looking for him for three years,” Trump said. “I’ve been looking for him. I started getting some very positive feedback about a month ago, and we had some incredible intelligence officials that did a great job.”
