Fly Me To The Moon Piano Tutorial - Jazz Secrets Revealed!

https://www.freejazzlessons.com/beginner I created this free Fly Me To The Moon piano tutorial to celebrate the launch of my brand new beginner jazz piano program. It's called the Zero To Jazz Piano Hero Program. This new beginner jazz piano program has been released. Get access to it right here https://www.freejazzlessons.com/begin...

Inside this Fly Me To The Moon piano lesson we go over how 2 amazing jazz masters would play chord voicings on this tune. The first piano player we look at is Bud Powell. Bud's style of playing features open 2 note voicings called shell voicings.

These chord not only sound great but they are easy to play. One of the things that makes this chord type so cool is how open they are. It allows the right hand a lot of freedom. The The second piano player we look at is Bill Evans. Although Bill had so many great jazz harmonies and voicings under his hands he was one of the first popular jazz pianists to use rootless voicings. These voicings feature fundamental chord tones... i.e. the 3rd and the 7th and 1 to 2 chord extensions.

They work great for so many different jazz standards but especially tunes that feature circle of fifth. And as you can hear in this Fly Me To The moon piano lesson, the rootles voicngs work perfectly. We will have several chapters exclusively on Fly Me To The Moon, complete pdf sheet music, a complete arrangement, and so much more inside the new 2 DVD set. Stay tuned and thank you for your support as always!
