History Minute (087): KKK, Marxism, anti-Semitism and conspiracy theories

The Ku Klux Klan views White supremacy not merely as an ideal, but as a necessity to survival, with White Americans facing extinction on their own soil due to immigration. Big cities that attract foreign workers are especially threatening to American institutions.

The KKK promotes anti-Semitism and conspiracy theories about Jewish immigrants who were (are) considered especially suspicious of spreading Russian pro-Bolshevist propaganda (i.e., Marxism and socialism) by encouraging workers and Blacks to initiate a revolution through labor unions, promoting civil rights, the teaching of evolutionary biology, and the granting of voting rights to the great mass of "incompetent" voters.

Moreover, the KKK claims that White Protestant Americans -- not Jews -- are the actual "chosen people".
