Discovery Institute Junk DNA Lies Come Full Circle
Early in 2024, Long Story Short, the Discovery Institute mouthpiece, released a video on junk DNA full of the typical creationist misinformation. I called it out, which led to my debate with Dr. Casey Luskin ( • DEBATE: Is the Human Genome Largely Junk D... ) in which he admitted less we have a documented function for less than half the genome (https://youtube.com/live/o6FomUarpSY). Discovery Institute tried to rewrite the history and say that's always been their position, which wasn't true ( • Responding to Critics: Discovery Institute... ).
