Wisconsin official blames homelessness on "sin," then votes against aid for the poor
The Dane County Board in Wisconsin, which includes the city of Madison, recently gave a $231,005 grant to Porchlight, a non-profit organization that helps the homeless.
But not before one board member, Jeff Weigand, opposed the proposal because he wanted the county to address the root cause of homelessness: SIN!
