Netflix may have scuffled at this year’s Emmy Awards, but the streaming platform is once again set to dominate the cultural conversation in October. The service will debut major film and television originals in the coming weeks, including new movies from Adam Sandler (the horror comedy Hubie Halloween on October 7) and Aaron Sorkin (the prestige drama The Trial of the Chicago 7 on October 16), premiere episodes of The Haunting of Bly Manor and Emily in Paris, and a surfeit of flashy library content, including the final season of Emmy Award-winning juggernaut Schitt’s Creek.....
