On Friday morning, President Donald Trump signed an emergency coronavirus funding package. The deal is worth about $8 billion and was passed with bipartisan support in Congress. Meanwhile, cases of coronavirus have now spread to at least 18 U.S states with at least 10 deaths in Washington and one death in California. In Seattle, precautions have left schools closed and businesses shuttered as the city responds to the outbreak.
A deadly tornado tore through parts of Nashville, Tennessee and surrounding communities earlier this week. The twister left at least 24 people dead and destroyed several homes and structures.
